What is an occlusal splint ?

An occlusal splint is a hard acrylic guide made to fit the biting surfaces of your upper teeth. It is for people who:

  • 1). Grind or Clench their teeth
  • 2). Have a history of pain and dysfunction associated with their TMJ
  • 3). Have had a full mouth rehabilitation
  • 4). Have had some sort of dental prostheses like an implant,crown and bridge work or big fillings

It is custom made to fit your mouth and contours so it is very comfortable to wear.
