Teeth whitening or bleaching of teeth is a procedure to lighten the color of the teeth. After the treatment the teeth look a few shades whiter.
Procedure
you will need to make an appointment with us for taking moulds of your teeth. We will prepare trays according to these measurements so they will have a very comfortable fit.
In two days time we will give you the set of bleaching trays that is both the upper and lower trays and a set of bleaching gels.
All the instructions will be provided to you in that appointment
Bleaching Gel
This Product allows patients to achieve beautiful, radiant results in a short amount of time. We use a unique Carbamide Peroxide formulation, specifically designed for patients concerned about tooth sensitivity whilst whitening.
It has a unique blend of soothers, conditioners and high water content to assist in reducing sensitivity.
You may have experienced pain or discomfort while whitening your teeth. It may be the result of teeth whitening sensitivity. But if you do experience discomfort, know that while it can be uncomfortable, it doesn't cause any permanent damage to your teeth and typically doesn't last for very long.
How To Prepare Sensitive Teeth For Whitening
- 1. Use toothpaste for sensitive teeth, a fluoride toothpaste, or a fluoride rinse for two weeks prior to beginning treatment.
- 2. Use the bleaching treatment as per instructions.
- 3. Line your custom trays with toothpaste for sensitive teeth after each bleaching treatment and wear for ten minutes.
How long do I wait to eat or drink after the treatment ?
It is essential to wait at least 24-48 hours after your teeth whitening before having any foods or drinks (including coffee) that could stain your teeth.
